Today in this blog I am going to talk about one of the most crucial part of the theatre which is hardly recognized by society which is Audience. Yes, the audience plays an important   role in the success and the failure of the play.As we can know, that the relationship of the audience and play is hand to hand, if one breaks then it is impossible for the theatre to become a hit.  For instance, If the joke was made by a theatre artist and the audience does not laugh on it   then it would affect the confidence level of the artist. After the theatre performance the thing which you love the most is the acting of the actor but the thing which we always forget is the technical aspect in which the technician play a very important role.  He is the one who looks after the lights, sounds, microphone, stage design and many more technical aspect of the theatre. In this set designer play a very important role as he has to design the set according to the writer, he not only go through the script but also have to visualize that how a particular scene would look like when he add the particular element to it,  like in the emotional scene what should be the intensity of the light and which color of light should be used. It was the first time that the 8th edition of Theatre Olypmics had been held in India which initiative  taken by the national school of  drama under the Ministry of Culture. The event was inaugurated in New Delhi by the Vice President of India(Venkaih Naidu) on Feeb 17, 2018. It run under the theme of the flag of friendship.  The main concept of the theatre Olympics is started by the Theodorus Terzopolous in 1993 which happened in the Greece, Delphi. This theatre olympics include 500 plays & 700 ambience performances from all across the world and Allied activities like exhibitions, seminars, symposia, interactive discussions and workshops with well-known academicians, authors, actors, designers and directors will be held.
