It was originally started as a  national festival showcasing the work of the most creative theatre workers in India which is now has expand its dimension and now start targeting international performances also.Bharat Rang Mahotsav is accompanied by a shorter festival in a second city, with selections from the main repertoire, extending the scope of the Mahotsav and sharing its fare with theatre lovers outside Delhi. The second festival has to date been held in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bhopal, Chennai , Jaipur , Rajasthan and Amritsar. I   think that theatre is one of most beautiful form of the art and culture which India   has in its treasure. We all are theatre artists in some form or the other in our life, we enacted various roles such as a father, mother, even meeting those client who we hate the most and even after that we have greet them with a smile.   A great man once said that life is like a theatre and we all are characters trying to play our role in the stage of the life. The major difference between us and the theatre artist is that, we act in order not to get notice while the theatre artist act in order to get noticed. Theatre is not a word but it is a feeling which unite us, help the oppressed section of the society and give them a voice and many more. Cinema and theatre both are part of the same art but with different aspects. This difference between the two will help  us to understand which medium we enjoy more and which  is beneficial for us and in which we want to make the future. There are certain para meters on which we can compare the both in which one is creative process. It is seen that in the theatre or play the back stage and the front stage have to work simultaneously, for an instance he/she has to act according to the music cue and the light cue which is given to him and the backstage crew has to give the effect, when that effect is accepted according to the script while in the Cinema, there is separate department such as actor, special effects and musical composers who work separately and may never interact, and in the end editors will bring all the different crews' work together. The prominent actress Mrs. Seema Biswas also said in her interview that now a day earning in theatre is very little, the amount which you get in theatre is even not enough to fulfill your family stomach.
