Opportunities in theatre

In today's world, theatre is also evolving with the time. New forms of theatre which is led by the younger generation. The language of the theatre has been rediscovered and challenged as now we can see many of the forms which are new and much more tempting in the comparison of the old one.
As with the growth of the theatre, the opportunities in theatre are also increasing, various theatre festivals like Bharat Rang Mohotsav and for the first time  in India 8th edition of the theatre olympics has been held. This type of festivals give artist recognization at both national and international level. This all help in the recognization of the artist at a good level and also the awards such as Sangeet Natak Akadmi which is given by Sangeet Natak Akadmi.
Now a days, performing groups are also play with the lights and stage in order to make theatre more interesting of which 'light theatre' is one of the best example. Even many young directors are using the audio-visual projections to explore new opportunities or to create scenic.
This not only increase the opportunities in the theatre but it also help in the recognization of the Indian theatre artist in the foreign platform also. Ultimately it help in creating a platform both at the national and international level

8th edition of theatre olympic

It was the first time that the 8th edition of Theatre Olypmics had been held in India which initiative  taken by the national school of  drama under the Ministry of Culture. The event was inaugurated in New Delhi by the Vice President of India(Venkaih Naidu) on Feeb 17, 2018. It run under the theme of the flag of friendship.  The main concept of the theatre Olympics is started by the Theodorus Terzopolous in 1993 which happened in the Greece, Delphi. This theatre olympics include 500 plays & 700 ambience performances from all across the world and Allied activities like exhibitions, seminars, symposia, interactive discussions and workshops with well-known academicians, authors, actors, designers and directors will be held.
