Famous theatre halls In India
India has some of the amazing theatre halls in Delhi. Theatre
is the place basically where all performance take place. Theatre is the place where lights, musical instruments were arranged
according to the act and a place where audience gather and watch the play. The beautiful auditorium with good capacity of
audience are some of the characteristics of this theatre about which we are going to talk today.
Some of the Eg of this theatre are Little theatre group, Sri
Ram Centre, Kamani. Today we are going to talk in depth about this theatre.
LTG Auditorium:-
It is six decades old, the oldest auditorium in Delhi. Many
cultural activities like shows, plays, annual days & award ceremonies have
been staged here. The Little Theatre Group has a membership of around 70
children between the age of 5 and 14. The Group promotes creative aptitude and
talent through workshops in dance, mime, music, art and craft, drama, magic, photography,
puppetry, pottery and 3-D projects conducted by professionals. It was started
to promote theatre for children and tap their creative potential.

Kamani:- Kamani Auditorium was inaugurated on the 22nd
of August 1971 by President of India Sh. V.V. Giri. It is spread over a vast
area in the heart of the capital's cultural arena, the auditorium is on an
impressive structure. The outstanding feature of the auditorium is the stage.
With a 48 feet depth and a 40 feet opening frontage, it is large by any
standards and ideal for all kinds of presentations, ranging from plays,
ballets, to group and solo performances. The tagline which is given to the
Kamani auditorium is 'The place where legends perform'.
Shriram Bharatiya
Kala Kendra (SBKK):- Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra (SBKK), is an Indian
cultural institution which runs a noted school for music, dance and performing
arts in New Delhi. It was founded by Sumitra Charat Ram in 1952, and imparts
training in Indian classical dance styles and music, including Kathak, Bharatanatyam,
Odissi, Chhau, Hindustani Classical music, both Vocal and Instrumental. The
centre includes a theater for the performing arts, a theatre repertory company
and an acting school.
Often referred as Bharatiya Kala Kendra, the Kala Kendra
hold an important place in history performing arts education in India. I Today,
it is best known for its annual Ramlila, the enactment of the life of Rama
which takes place during the 10-day Dussehra festival.
