Wishing You All Happy World Theatre Day

Today is world theatre day,  yes the day on which all theatre lovers, performers, universities child everyone who are associated with theatre celebrated it. It was the initiative which was started by international theatre institute on 27th march 1961 and after that it was celebrated annually. It is basically celebrated in order:

·To promote theatre in all its forms across the world.

·To make people aware of the value of theatre in all its forms.

· To enable theatre communities to promote their work on a broad scale so that governments and opinion leaders are aware of the value and importance of dance in all its forms and support it.

·To enjoy theatre in all its forms for its own sake.

·To share the joy for theatre with others.




 The message which International Theatre Institute is basically trying to  communicate  throughout the          world is to share the figure of world stature showing his or her reflections on the theme of theatre and a   culture of peace.
 World Theatre Day has been celebrated in many and varied ways by ITI Centres - of which there are now more than 90 throughout the world.
        
 India this time is celebrating 8th theatre Olympics and through this festival they are trying to promote the World theatre day message throughout the world  in which they are inviting some of the renowned  personality like Mrs Himani Shivpuri who speak on the importance of the theatre and her personal views  that how theatre can change someone life.
