My Views On Theatre

I   think that theatre is one of most beautiful form of the art and culture which India   has in its treasure. We all are theatre artists in some form or the other in our life, we enacted various roles such as a father, mother, even meeting those client who we hate the most and even after that we have greet them with a smile.   A great man once said that life is like a theatre and we all are characters trying to play our role in the stage of the life. The major difference between us and the theatre artist is that, we act in order not to get notice while the theatre artist act in order to get noticed. Theatre is not a word but it is a feeling which unite us, help the oppressed section of the society and give them a voice and many more. In the past it is the theatre is the one which help us to get our freedom back from the hand of the Britishers and It is the theatre now which still in today's society helps the people to get   aware about their rights and need...

Cinema V/s Theatre

Image
Cinema and theatre both are part of the same art but with different aspects. This difference between the two will help  us to understand which medium we enjoy more and which  is beneficial for us and in which we want to make the future. There are certain para meters on which we can compare the both in which one is creative process. It is seen that in the theatre or play the back stage and the front stage have to work simultaneously, for an instance he/she has to act according to the music cue and the light cue which is given to him and the backstage crew has to give the effect, when that effect is accepted according to the script while in the Cinema, there is separate department such as actor, special effects and musical composers who work separately and may never interact, and in the end editors will bring all the different crews' work together. This is the first major difference between the film and cinema. Other major difference between the Cinema's and theatre is thei...

Even in today's world theatre is facing many problem among which the main problem is amount of money which is given to the theatre artist. The prominent actress Mrs. Seema Biswas also said in her interview that now a day earning in theatre is very little, the amount which you get in theatre is even not enough to fulfill your family stomach. In her interview she also highlighted the scenario of the theatre by comparing it with the youtube videos, television and films. How To Relive Theatre Again In India

The status of the theatre in the current society is not as impactful in the comparison of the other medium.  Even after so many efforts of the government we are not able to make it as impact full   as the other source of media. There are some recommendations which can literally help in making theatre again as important as it was around 5,000 year ago. To make theatre successful again in India, we first have to target the audience. As we all know it the audience which either make the show flop or hit, hence we have to first their interest in the theatre. For this the theatre artist should conduct the workshop, lecture demonstrations and showing the importance of the theatre in the front of the school child. We can make the theatre a optional subject like other subject such as physical education. This will help the children to know in the starting there potential as the theatre artist and will improve and nourish their skills. They can use and develop informal spaces...
